Help spread the word and make the Exhibition the biggest and best ever!

Here’s what you can do:

On this page you’ll see a list of resources for promoting the Exhibition (just click on the file name to download it):
  • SPX audio promo 1 (29) An audio promo produced by our own J. Daniel Sawyer. If you know someone with a podcast you follow, either send them the audio plug or let us know about them (mark@steampunkexhibition.com) and we’ll see that they get an inquiry. Heck, also let them know that we’ll have a room dedicated to podcasters and press at the Exhibition in case they want to interview people there.
  • Our newest flyer in both color (SPX color flyer (55)) and b/w (SPX BW flyer (25)) versions. If there’s a store, cafe, or pub that you frequent, especially in the Bay Area, and you haven’t seen a flyer up yet, please feel free to print a flyer out and see if they’ll let you post it in a window or community corkboard. Alternatively, if you’d like us to rush you a supply of either flyer, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
  • A shorter 75 word blurb describing the Exhibition and a small graphic image (SPX small graphic image (38)) for shorter listings either over the net or in newsletters. Here’s the blurb:
    The Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition
(March 12-14 in Emeryville) takes the best elements of traditional science fiction and fantasy conventions, combines them with the passion, ingenuity, and hands-on workshops of Maker events, and places it all in a steam-powered, neo-Victorian setting that spans the 1830s through the early 1910s, from the cultured salons of gaslit London to the rugged coast of San Francisco. Tickets and more info at www.steampunkexhibition.com.
  • Lastly, here’s the current press kit (SPX Presskit (35)). It contains our main press release and a copy of the color flyer.
We’re putting together a collection of goodies to reward people who help bring new folks to the Exhibition, so let us know what you’re doing.  And please don’t limit yourself to what you see here. We’re eager to hear of any other ideas you may have in getting the word out. Just let us know at mark@steampunkexhibition.com.
